Macmillan Coffee Morning

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Macmillan Coffee Morning at Flackwell Heath Methodist Church. Together, we raised around £170 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Our playgroups joined in too, making and icing green and white cupcakes with plenty of sprinkles! Thank you to the children and everyone who helped them take part, as well as all those who baked, served, donated and came along for a cup of coffee on Saturday morning.

For many years, our Macmillan Coffee Morning has brought people at Flackwell Heath Methodist Church together around a cause close to our hearts. Cancer has touched many lives in our community, and gathering to support those affected is one small way we put our Methodist faith into action by caring for our neighbours.

Macmillan says its Coffee Mornings help raise funds to support the almost 3.5 million people in the UK living with cancer. We’re proud that our little gathering can be part of that wider effort. Thank you, everyone!
