A Joyful Reopening

It was a joy to gather for our reopening service after a summer of renovation work at Flackwell Heath Methodist Church. Kate led us in worship as we gave thanks for the people who have worked so hard to make the building ready to welcome everyone back.

The premises are looking lovely, with a fresh coat of paint, a new toilet block and a new kitchenette complete with a bay window serving area. We’re delighted to welcome back our hirers, playgroups and regular church activities. As Jesus reminds us, “Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them” (Matthew 18:20).

We also celebrated the news that Kate will continue her ministry here in High Wycombe. We’re grateful to have her with us as we begin this new chapter.
